I’m sure the title gives their love story away! These two are PERFECT for one another. They fell in love through an online dating app. Then discovered both of their passions for video games, Star Wars, Star Trek, and basically everything else in life that is important.
Sara has two children of her own and Dan doesn’t have any. Those of you that know me, know that I was a single Mom for 6 years so when I hear stories like this my heart just melts. It’s so brave and courageous for a Mom to be willing to share her children but so brave and courageous for a bachelor to take the role as not only a Husband but also a Father.
I had no idea how die hard they were until Sara showed up with R2D2 and BB8 shoes. Their wedding colors were themed around Star Wars and she was so excited telling me about how their wedding was going to also be gamed themed! I can’t wait to see it.
I loved how beautiful the light was on the day we did their bridals. It was overcast and so we were able to have the deep shadows and reflection at Tibble Fork Reservoir. It created a beautiful rich look to their images.
Sara supports local and had all of her creative genius friends help complete her overall look. One of them made her shoes, another her bouquet and another all of her beautiful jewelry. And for her dress….. well Sarah made that! In some of the detail shots, you can see her star lace, which again completed her Star Wars themed look.
I love when a Bride and Groom implement who they really are in to their weddings. It’s so nice to see Brides and Grooms that share similar interests and make their reality their wedding! Can’t wait for their wedding!
