A beautiful wedding nestled in Lake Havasu on the cliff overlooking the lake was a dream to photograph! Jill’s attention to detail for her wedding was incredible. She had custom ordered desert cookies, cactus’s for the table centerpiece, succulents in her flowers and bouquet. No detail went unnoticed.
This was my first time photographing a wedding in Lake Havasu. I have done a handful of weddings in Arizona so I was excited to be back but really looking forward to shooting a wedding at Lake Havasu. Which by the way, is the cutest little city if you’e never been I’d recommend taking a trip there!
My husband was the Second Photographer for this wedding and it was really helpful having him there. The wedding was pretty spread out and we had to take golf carts around. He was able to go get all of the detail shots while I was able to stay with the Bride and do getting ready pictures and pictures of her Bridal party. I knew that Jill and Randy’s guests had come from all over so we made it a priority to get a candid picture of all her guests, and I’m happy to say we succeeded! I love being able to provide memories for Brides and Groom’s to look back on after the wedding is over with but I really enjoy reminded them of the love that was surrounding them.
After the ceremony, we took Jill and Randy around the resort on a golf cart to maximize our time and get pictures of all the scenic points they were interested in! It was a lot of fun to spend some one on one time with them.
Their photo booth was the cutest tear drop trailer I have ever seen, I would love to bring that idea to Utah! It was a company called Step Right Up Photo Booth, I’d highly suggest hiring them if you are looking for a photo booth for your Arizona wedding!
